The ingredients needed to make Beer Chili:
- Get 2 lb Ground beef or beef stew meat
- Take 1 large Onion (I use sweet)
- Take 1 large Green bell pepper
- Make ready 3 clove Garlic - minced
- Get 2 can 8 ounce tomato sauce
- Take 1 can 6 ounce tomato paste
- Make ready 1 can 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
- Prepare 8 oz Medium salsa
- Take 2 can Beer (I prefer Heineken)
- Get 2 can 15 ounce Kidney Beans
- Get 4 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
- Take 1 tsp Ground black pepper
- Prepare 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions to make Beer Chili:
- Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder
- While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.
- The longer it cooks the better it is!!!
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!
