  6. Make ready 2 tbspn gg paste
  7. Make ready 4-5 green chillies
  8. Prepare 3 tomatoes
  9. Take 1 Cup Yogurt
  10. Prepare 1 tbspn whole spices
  11. Make ready Salt to taste
  12. Get 1 tbspn red chilli powder
  13. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Prepare 1 tbspn roasted crushed Cumin
  15. Take 1 tbspn roasted crushed coriander
  16. Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  17. Take 1 Cup Oil
  18. Take Water as required

Instructions to make Sohanjana Ka Salan (Moringa):
  1. Boil some water in a pot. - When the water comes to a boil add the flowers and let it cook for 20 minutes and then turn the flame off.
  2. Close the lid and let it sit 3 to 4 hours or overnight. This will take out the bitterness out of the flowers.
  3. After soaking for 3 hours this is how it will look. The water will become brown.
  4. Now drain the flowers and put them under running water.
  5. Put the flowers back in the pot and add fresh water. - Keep boiling it for 20-25 minutes till the flowers are soft and cooked. You can take a flower and try to mash it with your fingers.
  6. Drain the flowers using a colander. - Squeeze out extra water using your hands. It will mash up the flowers but its okay. You can do it in batches.
  7. Keep them aside on a plate.
  8. In a pan add oil,onions slices and saute them till they become transparent and little brown.
  9. At this stage add, chicken,1 tbspn whole spices, chopped tomatoes,gg paste
  10. Add salt, crushed Cumin, crushed coriander, turmeric powder, green chilies and red chili powder mix well.
  11. Now add peas, potatoes and cook.
  12. Cook for five minutes or until the oil begins to separate.
  13. Add one cup water cover and cook on medium heat.
  14. Cook them for five to seven minutes till they become soft and crunchy.
  15. Add boiled and drained sohanjana,one cup yogurt and mix.
  16. Cover it with a fitting plate and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  17. Now cook for more five minutes or until the oil begins to separate.
  18. Sprinkle some Garam Masala and green chilli slices.
  19. Serve hot with Rotis.
