- Take 10 . Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
- Get 11 . Ginger - garlic paste - 1 tbspn
- Prepare 12 . Salt as per taste
- Prepare 13 . Oil and 1 tspn chopped garlic for frying squid

Remove the transparent cartilage pen which is located inside, then rinse the squid pocket under running water and remove the entrails with your fingers. Stir the remaining capers into the sauce, then add the stuffed squid and tentacles. Make a small hole in the pointed end of each squid body (this will stop them from bursting in the oven), then stuff with the rice mixture. In a bowl, mix the eggs, bread crumbs, cheese, garlic, EV olive oil and parsley.
Steps to make Stuffed squid:
- Clean and cut squid into small pieces and boil it by adding some water, salt and turmeric powder
- MARINATION :Combine red chilli paste, garlic, ginger, lemon juice and salt. Add squid and marinate it for few minutes.
- FOR STUFFING: Grind grated coconut, Greenchilli and small onion together. Keep aside.
- Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped onions and saute well.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
- Add tomato and mix well. Cook for a minutes.
- Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well, till raw smell disappears.
- Add some chopped curry leaves and boiled squid pieces into it and combine well.
- Add grinded coconut mixture and salt as per your taste. Combine and cook for 5 minutes. Stuffing / Squid thoran is ready.
- Stuff the squid thoran inside the marinated squid. Heat a pan, add some oil (Add 1 or 2 tbspn oil) and sprinkle some chopped garlic.
- Fry the stuffed squid for about 7 minutes. After that make slits on the squid and serve it hot. Garnish with any sauce of your choice.
- NOTE : - - Do not over cook the squid, as the meat become rubbery.
Add salt and pepper as desired. Mix well until you have a semi-soft stuffing. Add a little milk or bread crumbs as needed. For the calamari, in a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, grated cheese, chopped eggs, parsley, olive oil, and salt, and toss to combine. Drizzle in about half of the wine, and toss.
